The traditional hammam treatment takes place in a setting of honeyed tadelakt and marble enveloped in steam and lit through ancient Roman glass. Black Moroccan soap is applied to the skin which is then scrubbed using a Kessala glove. This process which stimulates circulation leaves the skin exfoliated and rejouvinated. After rinsing ‘Ghassoul’ a clay from the the High Atlas Mountains is applied to the body leaving it soft, refreshed and smooth.
